convex

Convex's custom URL scheme (convex:) supports one command (convert) and three parameters:

  • Quantity (qty) : this parameter specifies the value that needs to be either computed or converted. If no quantity is specified, 1 (one) is used as a default
  • Source Unit (src) : this parameter specifies the source unit used for the conversion
  • Target Unit (tgt) : this parameter specifies the target unit used for the conversion

Samples

convex://convert?qty=14+6

This call will perform the computation and result in 20 being displayed in Convex's visualizer

convex://convert?qty=30&src=dollar

This call will convert 30 dollars (either USD, CAD, AUD… depending on your locale) to its default conversion unit (euro) and will display the result in Convex's visualizer

convex://convert?src=dollar

This call will convert 1 dollar (either USD, CAD, AUD… depending on your locale) to its default conversion unit (euro) and will display the result in Convex's visualizer

convex://convert?qty=25&src=cm&tgt=inch

This call will convert 25 centimeters to inches and will display the result in Convex's visualizer

convex://convert?src=kg&tgt=lb

This call will convert 1 kilogram to pounds and will display the result in Convex's visualizer
